Built in epoxy-kevlar composite sandwich in 1997 at the Goetz Custom Boats shipyard to Bruce FARR design, has participated in the Volvo Ocean Race circuit since 1997 under the names "RACING CHESSIE", "Beau Geste", "ASSA ABLOY", "BIG One" then finally "CHESSEA". In 2013 major modification work on the bridge, validated by the architect firm Bruce Farr, was carried out to transform the radical racing yacht into a fast cruiser.
