METALCOMPOSITE YACHTS 54' Year 2016940 000 € VAT not paid
This incredible fast sailboat was designed around the desire of her owners to have an efficient but also comfortable and safe sailboat. The hull is made of aluminum and the superstructures, spars and floors, opening transom are made of carbon in order to respect a controlled weight estimate of 11.5T. The hybrid propulsion for an optimal weight centering and the automated canting keels allow both to reduce the minimum draft to 1.10m but also a remarkable efficiency under sails by increasing the return power. One can easily imagine the pleasure of steering such a boat with a power/weight ratio of 1.59. Designed to be managed by two people or even solo.
Owner's words
Our goal? To create a cruising yacht that would offer her owners the pleasure of sailing on a stylish, high performance boat in complete safety, extremely comfortable at sea and at anchor and with a very shallow draft with the keels up. We think that the challenge has been met and we have enjoyed sailing her with two people (and even alone) with a remarkable facility. It is a unique and perfectly finished and comfortable boat to travel in complete safety without giving up the pleasure of sailing. We do not regret the automated canting keel principle which offers excellent performances, simplicity of use but also the possibility to reduce the draft from 2.90m to 1.10m in order to access nice anchorages.
