This former Imoca raced with some of the greatest competitors (Loïck Peyron, Catherine Chabaud, Jean Maurel, Richard Tolkien...). She was modified with a fast cruiser inside layout. She now displays 3 double cabins and all the needed comfort for fast blue water cruising, a nice bathroom, a large and convenient galley, a welcoming U-shaped saloon, a watermaker and a nice and practical doghouse. She remains very efficient under sails and was prepared for La Route du Rhum 2022 but she finally did not depart. Ecureuil d'Aquitaine (first Vendée Globe winner) was her sistership, this unit has been seriously upgraded all along her life and she is now ready to sail again.
Owner's words
Fuji was my dream boat, a one-of-a-kind legend and I did not hesitate when I was in a position to buy her. As a carbon fiber professionnal and racing ships shore manager, I paid a lot of attention to her structural condition and I know her perfectly now. I have been working a lot to make her both safe and comfortable, my first project being to sail the world with my family. The ship has been upgraded a lot since I bought her and I was about to depart the Route du Rhum 2022 but I was not able to get free for this project. Some family and professional considérations make me think that I will have not enough time to sail this wonderful ship and she deserves to sail more, traveling or racing. I have to let her go with a new owner.
