LEVRIER DES MERS 16 M Year 1988219 000 € VAT paid
This excellent aluminum ULDB designed by FINOT and built by Le Guen & Hemidy in Carentan near Cherbourg is a great success. The centrally positioned saloon offers a more classic 3-cabin layout than the Cigale 16, while retaining the charm of fast, easy cruising aboard a stable, high-performance yacht. Her winged keel, with a draft of just 2m (, allows easier access to certain anchorages. Her current owner has modernized her with, for example, a new engine in 2019, an Andersen electric winch in 2019, Axiom 12', deck paint 2023 etc. A legendary yacht, the first mass-produced aluminum ULDB.
Owner's words
Sixteen meters long, nine tons lightship displacement, 154 sqm upwind sail area, the aluminum-built Lévriers des mers 16 is a (very) fast and (very) reliable cruising yacht. This was the first model presented at the Paris Boat Show in 1988. For the last 5 years, the boat has been sailed in the Mediterranean with a short handed crew, and I have always maintained and optimized it to facilitate maneuvering for two. All halyards and reefing lines are routed back to the cockpit, we have an electric winch on the port side of the deckhouse and all electronic information at the helm. We've sailed her from Bretagnel to Sicily, Venice, Greece, Croatia, Montenegro, Sardinia, the Balearics... often in pairs, sometimes with friends and family on board. She's now waiting for you to resume her sailing.
