X-412 Year 1999
Very beautiful racer/cruiser designed by Niels Jepessen, this X 412 represent the philosophy and the know-how of the Danish yard: high quality of finish and construction for a fast boat. This one offers a complete set of sails (3 genoas), a teak cockpit and a 2013 bow thruster. Few engine hours. Beautifuk teak interior, in two cabins version.
Owner's words
Over the years I have had much experience, and some success, in crewing/helming Class 1 Ocean Racing Yachts in the UK and English Channel and, on my retirement from business, we bought this X-412 as a thoroughbred club racing/cruising yacht.
She was raced a few times in the English Channel/Solent/Cowes area but, shortly after acquiring her, my failing health persuaded us to move to the South of France. The yacht was sailed to La Rochelle and then trucked to Toulon and has been little used since arriving in France. The total log distance is approximately 3,500 NM.
She has not been used at all in the last two years but has been well maintained and all electrical and mechanical systems have been checked over to ensure full working condition.
