VIA 52 Year 2000
Built in a small series of five units, the Via 52 is an excellent beachable centerboarder designed for blue water cruising. With an ashwood, elmwood and iroko joinery ordered specifically to suit her only owners, she features rich, spacious, open and very light interiors. Her long list of equipments for long range autonomy and her meticulous upkeeping make the ideal candidate for a new departure. A new deck paint in 2016, in Malaysia.
Owner's words
We fell in love with blue water cruising many years ago, and after sailing eleven years on a Galapagos 43' ketch with a full circumnavigation, we decided for a larger boat and bought the fifth and last Via 52 and ordered her to be fitted with bespoke interiors in the year 2000. We continued to sail six months per year and have widely expanded our horizons. Now we have finally found an earthbound home, and have stopped our cruise in Thailand, where we have left the boat on the dry in excellent condition, and ready for sale.
