VIA 42 Year 1984
Most acomplished version of the well-known Via range, the Via 42, designed by J.L. Noir, gives you all advantages of a full centerboarder, with astonished ability upwind. The 2 profiled daggerberboards allow a good sailing stability. 3 cabins version, this Via 42 is well equiped and maintained.
Owner's words
The boat has been travelling in the West Indies from 1985 to 1989. Then she came back to France and was based in Perros-Guirec, Brittany until 2006. Since I bought her in 2003, she did not sail a lot until august 2006 because of works I had to be done (new sails, sprayhood, davits, hatches ....). Then, we came down the Atlantic to the Mediterranean by Gibraltar. Since we reach the Mediterranean, we had little periods of sailing from ''Côte d'Azur'' to Gulf of Genoa. My back and shoulders do not allow me to sail my boat as often as I would and I sell her with regrets.
