UNIVERSAL YACHTING 40 Year 2004
Built by Universal Yachting shipyard on a Jacques et Nicolas FAUROUX design in AG4MC (5086), this is a very robust rounded aluminium twinkeel boat with 2 double cabins and the convertible main cabin that can beach.
The boat has been entirely refitted in 2015/2016 for a world tour. Efficient isolation, connected electronics, rigging and sails revised in 2016. All has been done with respect to reliability and safety.
Absolutely ready to leave.
Owner's words
We are two recently retired co-owners. We bought the boat in 2015. 8 months of refit to put the boat in the state of sailing in all conditions. Focus has been made on reliability, safety, easy maintenance, short handed maneuvring in all conditions. The project was to leave in automn 2016 for a several years world tour, but some health problems and the warning of doctors for one of us just stopped it. We are now feeling terribly sad that we have to sell the boat as it is no boat for just coastal cruising. We wish all the preparation we made and the energy we put into it would serve another beautiful project...
