TRAWLER FIFTY 38 JP BROUNS Year 2007
Built for her sole Dutch owner on Jean Pierre Brouns's plans, this atypical and able to dry out Trawler attracts by her originality. Solidly built in thick polyester sandwich (50mm), under CE certification, this robust motorsailer lacks neither charm nor arguments to convince sailors looking for a comfortable, autonomous and safe unit for all types of navigation, both ocean and inland waters like channels. The bright deck saloon, on the same level with the cockpit, will allow you to sail in the open air while remaining protected thanks to the interior wheelhouse. A convertible saloon and an owner's cabin, will allow you to welcome four people.
Owner's words
We had our boat built by Tropic Composites in Daker. Then we brought it to Holland for finishing. We are particularly satisfied with the quality of the hull and the sampling of the construction. We were looking for large spaces, a large saloon, a comfortable cabin well ventilated at the ports and in navigation, a large bathroom and separate toilet. The large engine room makes it possible to service the engine easily also in navigation. We traveled from Africa to Holland by the ocean, after northern Europe we came to the Mediterranean by the canals. Since 2009, the boat is maintained by a Dutch shipyard and spends winters in a boathouse.
