RUSH 44 Year 1977
This Michel Joubert design built by Chantienr Naval de Biot with AG4 Aluminium is a nice and efficient unit with a hard chine under the waterline. Since her current owner bought her in 2011, the ship was maintained by this sailing ships maintenance professional. Her former owner, a French professional sailor used to sail with no electronics and who still holds the solo round the world record against prevailing winds, had been transforming this ketch into a more simple sloop, designing the "perfect solo sailboat". She really sails well, no matter what the weather looks like. Some tunings to be done before departing for a travel.
Owner's words
I bought this ship from a professionnal renown sailor. He had been modifying this sailboat to make her easier to maintain and to manage solo. He would hav loved to go on and sail with her, but he was busy 100% with a world record he wanted to brake. So I bought the ship and enjoyed a few long cruises from Brittany. I am going to have more available time and I plan to travel further, some rivers being at the program. I now need a small draft and this is the only reason why I decided to sell this excellent sailboat.
