RM 1260 Biquilles / Twin Keels Year 2014
When you look at this RM 1260, you obviously think about the great mocern ocean racers, vertical bow, main beam close from the stern, and hard-chines. This RM was designed to be fast, and her plywood-epoxy construction method makes her more light again. Well balanced and performing under sails, she is also very welcoming at anchor or at the marina. Her inside layout with 3 cabins, one bathroom and 3 additional bunks in the saloon allows to accomodate 9 persons. This friendly cruiser displays a U-shaped galley, opening on a full-beam saloon welcoming 8 guests. She has been sailing only one season, and she is "ready to be equipped" for a long trip thanks to her stainless steel gantry.
Owner's words
I bought this RM 1260 after I owned two cruisers. I have been seduced by her huge inside volumes, the convenient inside designs, and above all the performances and ergonomics. The catwalks are wide and free of deck fittings, the anti-slip coating is efficient and everywhere, so that you can feel secure when moving on the deck while sailing with family or short handed crew. I did not plan to sell this boat so quickly, but I am forced to.
