RM 1200 Year 2009
Designed on a Marc LOMBARD layout, famous for performant underbody design, the RM 1200 is both elegant and harmonious. The short roof is a nice living area. Heat and 7 berths in total. Autonomy in energy with the wind turbine and the solar panels, new hull sticker. The boat has been carefully taken care of by the owner since the construction. Some equipment have been added to extend the storage capacity, e.g. a library and floor on the gasoil tank. This is an efficient boat, ready to sail away as a family or with friends.
Owner's words
I had this boat built and equipped for a defined project: an Atlantic tour during a year off. We got the boat in February 2009 and first sailed to get used to it in the Scilly Islands, Ireland and Spain. In 2014, after a complete check (standing rigging, sails, engine...) et some personnal interior layout put in place, we sailed for 11 months in the Atlantic. The boat is robust and simple, which makes her resistant to any conditions as well as at anchorage. She does not heel too much and remains comfortable at any point of sailing. The solid wood parts, which do not exist any more on the new built RM boats, contribute to a cosy inside atmosphere besides the light coloured wooden ceiling.
