PATAGO 40 Year 2006
The Patago 40 is a nice aluminium construction with a deck saloon, centerboerd + 2 aft daggerboards on a Jean-François ANDRE design to sail the world. Prepared from 2017 to now with a lot aof new items and improvements (paint, sails, electronics, heating system etc... and a 07/2021 standing rigging), this circumnavigation sailboat was prepared carefully by some experienced owners. Elegant and offering comfortable vomumes, sailor-friendly and easy to handle, she was improved to sail the world with a short handed crew of two and even solo. A quality alternative to more conventional productions.
Owner's words
We bought our voyage aluminium centerboarder in 2019 through AYC Yachtbrokers and got used to her, prepared and improved her before we departed for a blue wayer sailing program. We sailed down south to Africa coasts and then crossed the Atlantic, taking some time to stop , discover and share some good time with locals. We stopped in Brazil and stored the ship ashore to sail the Patagonia aboard another ship (we will share the watch times with another crew...) and then we will go on to the Pacific, possibly on two hulls. If you are looking for a voyage centerboarder, this one is perfectly built, both simple and equiped, seaworthy and secure; she is the perfect ship for a short handed crew of two or a family.
