PATAGO 40 Year 2006
The Patago 40 is a beautiful round bilge centerboarder with deck saloon and aft centerboards designed by Jean-Francois ANDRE for long haul sailing. Back from a 5 years long voyage in the Pacific and the Atlantic, the owner had the paintings completely renovated (sanding, epoxy, above and under the waterline + deck) in 2017.
The cockpit's Flexiteek has been changed and a nice new Quantum Sails main sail fitted. Elegant boat, spacious, practical and ergonomical, optimised for duo and even solo sailing in any sea conditions. A good quality alternative to series aluminium sailboats.
Owner's words
I purchased this boat in 2011 after having intensively searched fo the ideal boat to go for a worldtour as a couple, with a few solo journeys. The deck and interior layout made me go for her, but a few changes needed to be done for offshore cruising. We sailed off in 2012 and did 45 000 miles via Panama, the Pacific, New Zealand, Easter Island, Patagonia, Cape Horn, Brazil, the USA and Canada. The boat never failed, whatever the conditions in navigation or at anchor. We came back early December 2017 after a last stop in Portugal, in a yard we know well, to proceed to the complete painting and fitting revision. We really feasted, now this is your turn!
