OVNI 56 Year 1991
A round bilged OVNI? For sure! Completely rebuilt between 2009 and 2013, in a perfect general condition, this large round bilged aluminium cutter built at the Alubat Shipyard in Vendée / France from a Philippe BRIAND design sailed the world with a family aboard during the past 6 years. This highly liveable ship displays an aluminium deckhouse and a large cockpit. The 11 berths in 4 cabins, the large port saloon with a cosy starboard sitting space, the large galley, two bathrooms and the huge bathing platform make this ship perfect for your family or charter projects in cold or hot regions. To be seen absolutely if you are looking for this type of sailboat. New engine november 2020
Owner's words
When we began and look for our sailboat, the aluminium hull material came first in our choice; light, strong and easy to maintain if you look after it, the choice was done. This OVNI 56 was almost what we were looking for but a few important items were missing, and especially a comfortable and strong deckhouse. We led the ship to a shipyard and let the professionals work on the aluminium and inside fittings. We worked on what we knew; the electricity, plumbery and finishes. The aft became more practical afetr it was finished, the deckhouse was edded on the roof, the steering wheel was removed and the inside was re-insulated and totally refitted with new materials. The ship was as new when we started sailing the channels to the Mediterranean, from where we sailed the world during 6 years. We think we are going to settle down now.
