Built in aluminum by the Vendée Alubat shipyard to designs by Philippe Briand, the OVNI 47 is a beautiful cruising yacht ideal for a family, both easy and safe to sail, and lively and pleasant at anchor. In addition to the recent engine (2011) and standing rigging (2014), 6 permanent berths in 3 cabins, a highly successful, convivial saloon and two storage spaces in the forward hold and the huge cockpit locker. Many improvements and recent upgrades (2019-2020) make her a reliable and practical yacht that really doesn't look her age. To be seen quickly.
Owner's words
I acquired this yacht just before the Covid crisis, with the aim of sailing as a family. Traveling by sailboat with children requires a boat that is simple and easy to manage, but also very reliable and safe in all weathers. This OVNI 47 possesses these intrinsic qualities, which I have reinforced with many improvements and new equipment. As for life on board, I particularly appreciated the saloon, which is a real living space (galley, school, saloon, etc.), and the pleasant cabins offering everyone the privacy needed for long crossings. Unfortunately, this yacht was unable to support our family adventures due to lack of time. I found her to be a good walker, safe (Cap-Horn validated) and it's now time to return to life on land, but this ocean-going yacht deserves to continue her journey.
