OVNI 445 Year 2010
Designed by Marc Lombard and built in 46 copies at Alubat, the OVNI 445 is one of the benchmark sailboats for long family trips. This version with 3 cabins and 2 bathrooms has been optimized for sailing in the cold with two heating systems (gasoil stove and Planar forced air), but it is also air-conditioned. Self-sufficient in electricity thanks to several means of production, this travel sailboat has benefited from the permanent attention of her owners: standing rigging 2021, mainsail 2020, complete maintenance of the centerboard (removal and sandblasting) + maneuvering cylinder replaced 2020, dinghy etc... A sailboat optimized and made reliable by very experienced owners.
Owner's words
We have spent 10 exceptional years aboard this sailboat. We searched for the best compromise for a long time, and after documenting ourselves, having discussed a lot with other travelers and taking the time, we found that the OVNI 445 was the best compromise. Safe and comfortable, it has not been unworthy throughout our sailings, getting out of storms with serenity. It is both complete and easy to maneuver for two people (95% of the time), safe in heavy weather, comfortable both at sea and at anchor. We equipped her according to our needs and the continuous learning of Nordic sailing. We are forced to stop for a while for health reasons, but had planned to return to Greenland in the spring. The boat is therefore almost ready, she only needs a crew.
