OVNI 41 Year 1990
On Philippe Briand's plans, the Ovni 41 is intended for long-distance travel. At ease on downwind, the 41 is a lively and balanced boat. In breeze, sails stifness is rather good for a complete centerboarder, delaying the reducing of sails. On the deck, the bow is spacious and catwalks are large. The rigging and fittings are very reliable and were renewed regularly, On board electronics devices are complete and recents. Inside, living spaces are vast, functional and very luminous thanks to her panoramic roof. A well-designed boat and well-maintained, ideal for family vagrancy.
Owner's words
We are the third owners of this cruisings boat. The first owners used her for Antlantic family cruises. After, she was bought in 2009 by Swiss owners who lived on board for five years and bring her to Tahiti before taking her back to Normandie by cargo ship. In 2015 we bought her, for a sabbatical year around the Atlantic ocean. we invested a lot on her electronics devises, electricity, solar pannels and a general maintenance, bathrooms and new matresses. Our travel ended in october 2017. We know have to transmit our ship to her futur owners.
