OVNI 385 Year 2002
Designed by Philippe BRIAND and the Alubat teams, the OVNI 385 is an aluminium centerboarder perfectly suited for travel. Her first and only owners constantly maintained and upgraded her and she is now for sale with a new standing rigging and a complete equipment including a dessalator, solar panels, diesel heater etc... Her inside layout made from light rose oak wood and white linings is clear and spacious and storage spaces such as a sail locker on the forward deck and a really large cockpit locker. A nice cutter, optmized for sailing with a short handed crew of two.
Owner's words
Our OVNI 385 was delivered in november 2002. We had been seduced by her sailing habilities, the Alubat shipyard reputation and the possibility we had to have her built in a two cabins version. We have been sailing during five years from our home harbour to Brittany, Spain and Portugal to improve the boat and prepare her for further sailing. Then we sailed to the Mediterranean during seven years, 6 months aboard and 6 months at home. During this trip, we visited Turkey, the Marmara Sea, the Black Sea, the Adriatic to the Venice lagoon, Montenegro, Croatia and the beautiful Croatian Islands, Malta etc... taking our time to discover the landscapes and people, sailing the rivers as often as possible. We have new projects and we will go on sailing with friends.
