Owner's words
We bought Meroe in the West Indies in 2004, he had little sailed. We have equipped her with a large wind turbine, solar panels, runners, emergency stays, moorings. And we left: Panama, Galapagos, Polynesia, New Caledonia, New Zealand, Australia, South Asia to the Maldives from where he left on a freighter for the Mediterranean. She then stayed 6 seasons. We were 63 when we bought her and now 77. She is a safe and straightforward boat. We could judge of her qualities in the trans-pacific during which during a week the wind has remained between 30 and 35 knots with a strong sea from the rear. She never gave any disturbing signs. She is suitable for a couple or family navigation and electrified maneuvers are a guarantee of safety and comfort.
