The Mobile 477 is an aluminium cutter keelboat built in Ukraine, at the Navigal shipyard from one of the most reknown Russians naval designers, Oleg Larionov. This is the fourth release of a small series of ten hulls. This one was fitted with a fast cruising inside and deck layout and launched in 1996. The almost entire ship was refitted in 2008-2009 in the Netherlands and equipped to sail with a whole family including small children, then she sailed the world with two different careful families. The sailing is fast and fun (high ballast ratio, nice sails, deep keel) and the anchorages are comfortable. The inside volumes allow everybody aboard to find a quiet place to sleep. Superb!

Owner's words

Kate and I, along with our 3 boys, sailed our Mobile 477 to New Zealand over a two year period. She kept us safe and crossed the oceans quickly. We always thought she was the best looking monohull in the anchorage. We liked her so much we shipped her back to England when we had to come home. She got back in the water this spring and available for more adventures.
