CHEBEC Year 1981388 000 € VAT paid
Carefully built at the Thung Wha shipyard in Taiwan and designed by Claude Graf, who wanted to create a yacht for his own personal use, the Chébec is an elegant, timeless and classic blue water cruiser. After a friend saw the drawings and was charmed by the boat's appearance, they ended up having a dozen of them built. Proof of longevity, it would appear that all but one of the Chebecs are still sailing offshore. With her powerful hull and sturdy construction, this blue-water cruiser offers 3 cabins, two bathrooms and a spacious saloon, all fitted out in teak.
Owner's words
After 32 years of pleasure and happiness with family and friends, it's time to give our sailboat a chance for new adventures. This family sailboat has been our home for 12 years, 6 of them spent sailing. Our valiant ship took the whole family from Port-Fréjus to the Panama Canal, then to the Galapagos, the Marquesas, Polynesia and New Zealand, before returning via Easter Island, Panama, Bermuda and our new home port of Les Sables d'Olonne. Our 3 daughters have grown up aboard their floating home, learning to sail, fish, cook and discover other languages and civilizations... If you're ready, she will take you wherever the wind takes you!
