MOODY 62 DS Year 2009
The Moody 62 DS, designed by Bill Dixon and epoxy/foam vaccum built by the famous Hanse group's shipyard is the current flagship of this reknown brand. This very equipped large deck saloon sailboat offers a unique volume in her category due to her huge panoramic saloon and cockpit ensemble, the 3 double cabins and the double crew cabin. The woodworks and upholstery materials are superb. The sailing performances are also stunning due to the cutter rigging, a new mainsail and an important ballast ratio. The ship remains easy to handle with the electric furlers and winches. Ready to go and sail comfortably.
Owner's words
This Moody 62 DS has been purchased by the owner in august 2016, an experienced sailor who loved beautiful sailboats. He had her refited, from the survey and the modification of the electrical installation to the engine and generator revision, as well as to the renewal of batteries and some more improvements. He died this winter and he will realize his long distance cruising project for which he purchased the boat.
