HUNTER LEGEND 45 Year 1986
The American shipyard Hunter is renowned for the comfort and the living space on board. But, this boat is a real race cruise (rod rigging, nearly 50% of the weight in the ballast, shaped hull, little windage). She is easy to steer and maneuver thanks to her very large rudder. She is navigable in a small crew with the maeuvers that return to the cockpit. Cabins are large, they have large beds, showers and very comfortable bathrooms. The kitchen allows you to actually cook, refrigerators are bulky. Thanks to that and the numerous storage spaces, this boat is very adapted to the life on board and / or to the long-distance navigation.
Owner's words
Purchased in the West Indies in 1999, I had a crush on the clean lines, the deck plan, the interior volume and the teak woodwork. Accustomed to boat rentals from 10 to 12 meters, I was seduced by the comfort at sea and performance. After 14 months sailing in the Caribbean Sea, we had the boat in hand for the crossing by the Azores which was ideally held. The following summers we realized a tour in the Mediterranean until Athens wintering in Tunisia, since about ten years the boat was in Spain and we carried out very many navigations in the Balearic Islands, always with the same pleasure.
