HANS CHRISTIAN 43 TRADITIONAL Year 1987195 000 € VAT paid
Designed by Harwood Hives and built in Thailand at the Pantawee shipyard, this traditional sailboat has been sailed around the world by a couple for the past 25 years. Solid and seaworthy, she has endured all sea conditions: Atlantic, Cape Horn, Patagonia, Pacific... She has been maintained and upgraded throughout her life by two passionate owners, who pay close attention to the yacht's safe operation. Underneath its classic exterior, this is a real ocean-going sailboat, heated and self-sufficient, solid, safe in heavy weather and pleasant to sail. Ideal for a couple, it's also ideal for a family.
Owner's words
It's a real heartbreak to part with a boat with which we've experienced what has made us indefectible friends. As the miles went by, the Otter II turned into a companion that took us on a voyage of discovery of the sea and...of ourselves. From the North Sea to the Atlantic and Pacific oceans, from the far North to the far South, she sheltered, protected and enchanted us. Dancing on the waves, she played on the water, hungry for wind and distant horizons. Whatever the weather, she "did the job" and brought us safely back to port, happy like Ulysses... But time passes. We grow old. On the other hand, as she remains in great shape, we must, out of respect and fraternity, give hers the chance to return to what she was built for: crossing oceans and sharing her pleasure of sailing with a young crew.
