GARCIA SALT 57 Year 2008
A nice Garcia building from a Frutschi design, this aluminium centerboarder with a center cockpit displays a covered and enclosed watch position and an exceptionnal comfort for a boat that lenght. Self sufficient due to large tanks and genset, Watt&Sea Pod, solar panels, watermaker and very good sailing performances or under engine when the wind does not blow. A lot of options to make life aboard easy, even with a short handed crew. Prepared in 2019 for a round the world sailing, a lot of overhauling and changes. The perfect family travel boat with generous volumes and the Garcia quality overall.
Owner's words
I had this boat built at the Garcia shipyard and the delivery took place in 2008. I was impressed by all the details that make this boat a perfectly finished sailboat. I was never surprised by her reactions, they are all sound and "standard" and we always felt well aboard. I did not want to build a "complicated" ship, so everything is easy to understand, control and maintain. For me, this is the way to feel secure and free of mind. After we sailed with freinds and family, we planned to sail around the world and we prepared the ship for this trip in 2019. Unfortunately, some health concerns will not allow me to make this long trip, this is whay I decided to sell her. It would be a pity for this perfect traveller not to depart, after all the efforts we made to make her ready.
