GARCIA 44 Year 1988
Built at Garcia and delivered bareboat motorized to its first owner in 1988, this Maracuja 42 base was completely redesigned by the 1st owner between 2011 and 2014 at the Yacht'Service shipyard in Saint Malo. New deck and cockpit plan, central wheel steering station, bi-safran, extended skirt, delphinière, stowage, electronics, sails, rigging, interior design ... two years of work and 300,000 euros later, she left as new around the globe with the current owner. This mythical hull now benefits from modern services to give the best in navigation as in anchorage. Unique and superb.
Owner's words
I purchased this Harlé design because I was looking for a solid, high performance, reputable travel unit. She has the advantage of having been built by Garcia and offers an ideal hull. The modifications of the deck plan as well as the technical choices (like the hoop receiving the mainsheet track, the self-tacking staysail, two rudders, the central helm station, and not the original tiller) make this boat very modern. Very reliable and safe, I have constantly maintained her and she has never disappointed me.
