FUTUNA 70 Year 2010
Generous and safe cockpit both at sea and at anchor, ample storage spaces, aluminum hull for security, all this makes this cruiser ideal for extended voyages with speed and comfort. The composite sandwich deck, in addition to keeping the boat as light as possible provides more thermal and phonic insulation than would an all-aluminum structure.
Owner's words
The boat I dreamed to retire after 20 years working in French West Indies, designed for a precise project; a shorthanded crewed travel around the world. We worked with Marc Lombard and the Futuna Yachts yard to design a quick and (very) beautiful sail boat, comfortable, easy to handle despite of her lenght and fresh water and energy self-sufficient. I also wanted a properly dimensioned engine power and an aluminium hull for a comforting hull strenght. We just accomplished half the way and I am proud of the choice I made. I am going on sailing the second half of the way until she was sold. After this, I am going and settle in Canada where I will not need such a boat anymore. She is perfectly fine-tuned, with a complete equipment, ready to go on sailing around the world.
