FRANCE Lab / America's Cup Year 199348 000 € VAT paid
These two heritage sailboats were engineered by Team France, designed by Philippe Briand, and served as a test boats for the development of the FRA 33 and FRA 37 skippered by Marc Pajot at the 1995 Louis Vuitton Cup in San Diego / USA. Stiff, fast and elegant, these 3 ton sailboats (out of which 2 tons in the keel!) are ideal tools for team building, a yacht club or simply to have fun on the water. Properties of Team France until 1996, they have been taken over and renovated by their new owner from 2005 and exhibited at the 2013 Grand Pavois for their 20 years. Unit price.
Owner's words
Passionate about beautiful sailboats and especially those of the America's Cup, I purchased with my brother these two abandoned boats. A few years later, they have been renovated and are ready to sail again (a renovation of the keel foil will be necessary). These sailboats are elegant on the water and really interesting to handle and maneuver. We had a lot of fun in friendly match racing but it has been difficult to gather people to sail with us and maintain these two exceptional units. We therefore wish to find new owners, each on their own or ideally together.
