Based on a Caroff-Duflos design, this self-made shooped steel Chatam 40 is voluminous, with an important waterline lenght such as the inside can be fitted from the bow to the transom. A family of four can easily live aboard with comfort and intimacy. The ship's motion is sweet and the power is manageable while sailing alone. This Chatam 40 Extrem was built by her first owner and launched in 2009. She is in a very good condition and ready to go and sail around the world.

We have been living aboard, on the Rhone river during 2 years + 1 year cruising the mediterranean. We want to sell our ship because our professional activities forces us to stop our around the world project.
