CHATAM 33 Year 2009
The smallest Chatam designed by Gilbert Caroff remains very vast, livable and bright. Two double cabins with Breton bed, a very aerated deck salon, centerboard thought for distant navigations. This unit was built by her owner, a professional welder in nuclear power. The amateur construction type, when it is implemented by professionals on personal projects, leads to exceptional realizations from the quality point of view. This is a new steel centerboarder ready to sail.
Owner's words
I entirely built this sailing boat with steel to enjoy sailing once I get on retirement. Solid, good stability that makes her reputation. She can be operated by one person only. Comfortable and bright to live on at sea as well as at harbour. She was put in water in 2009. I sailed a little in the Mediterranean sea and had to stop my plans beacause of health problems. Very well maintained, no work to foresee, she is ready to sail.
