CARAMBOLA 38 Year 1987
Built in AG4 aluminum by the specialist Atelier Grand-Mottois shipyard, this elegant Philippe Harlé-designed centerboarder was completely overhauled by her previous owner between 2009 and 2010. Standing rigging, sails, engine, electrics, electronics, heating, upholstery - everything was checked at the very least, and very often replaced. Electrically self-sufficient, heated and insulated, she is ready to set sail again for great family cruising, with her two double cabins, her Breton bed at the bow and her two 2m saloon bench seats. She can be sailed double-handed and even solo from her well-sheltered cockpit, equipped with an aluminum dodger.
Owner's words
I bought this boat for a specific purpose: to sail at sea, but also to cross Europe via rivers and canals from Bordeaux to Greece. So I dismasted the boat on the Gironde and spent some very pleasant moments on the rivers and canals of Europe before returning to the open sea in Greece. This sailboat is a real success and she knows how to do everything. Her previous owner successfully sailed her to Patagonia and back, and I introduced her to the old continent via the waterways.
