ALLIAGE 48 CC Year 2006
A demanding owner and the addition of the renown Alliage shipyard and of the excellent design office Berret-Racoupeau led to this semi-custom Alliage 48 Central Cockpit. This voyage round bilged twin rudders centerboarder's design was changed a bit with a vertical bow and a built-in swivelling bathing platform, to bring a modern elegance to this classic design. The Lorima carbon fiber mast and the cherry/foam sandwich inside fittings make the ship very comfortable and pleasant to sail. This fully equipped voyage boat comes with a perfect thermal insulation and an efficient heating system. She is just back from a nice Atlantic tour with a family aboard.
Owner's words
We have been chosing Alliage after we asked a few shipyards to deal with our next ship's building. They asked with all the custom additions we wanted and also gave an access to the Berret-Racoupeau design team to modify the classic Alliage 48 CC design with our requirements. We decided together to change the bow for a vertical one and to modify the transom for a more classic one with a built-in electrically swivelling platform. The ship looks perfect while at anchor or sailing and we spent a lot of perfect moments aboard. We will be sad to see her going on her way, but we decided to go on travelling on two hulls.
