ALLIAGE 44 Year 2004
Designed by the Berret/Racoupeau duet, the Alliage 44 is a performing, balanced downwind (2 rudders) and interesting ship to travel the world due to her reduced draught. The Alliage shipyard was a specialist in semi-custom aluminium ships, allowing the owner to get into the project with their specs and this unit benefited some experienced sailors as owners. They have been following the process, leading to a reliable, easy to handle and most of all, very secure blue water cruiser. She is in a very good general condition and ready to welcome her new owners for them to cruis the world as a couple or a family and even solo , with an impressive self sufficiency and a perfect comfort.
Owner's words
After we owned a few boats, we decided, my brother and I, to have our aluminium dreams boat built by the Alliage shipyard. She was supposed to be easy to handle by each one of us, strong and reliable, comfortable and perfectly built, designed for any latitude sailing. 5 years after she was launched, we decided to offer her a nice carbon fiber mast built by Lorima, what increased the performances and the comfort again. She is a wonderful sailboat, very comfortable for 4 persons aboard and able to get you to the most remote places. Insulated and heated, my professional occupation as a skipper led me to equip her with as much redundancies as needed to make her safe and self sufficient. As I get older and even if I still sail this exceptional sailboat, I think it is time for her to go and sail further with new owners.
