ALLIAGE 38 Year 2002
The tandem Berret / Racoupeau has designed a beautiful long cruise aluminum integral centerboarder. This unit is exceptional, with her convertible saloon on the port side, her galley on the starboard side, her numerous storage compartments and her very spacious forward cabin. To facilitate maneuvers port, the owner has installed a bow thruster and a third rudder, behind the propeller. She is therefore a first hand in very good condition with a new paint, never rented. Capable to run aground easily, she offers a service and a construction of quality to leave in all serenity.
Owner's words
After 50 years of sailing, I wanted to realize my travel boat, in which I would invest all my experience. I wanted a sizeable, manoeuvrable solo aluminum centerboarder that was comfortable, beautiful and robust. My choice fell on the Alliage 38, because the shipyard was open to the customers proposals, as well to modify the interior layout, as to equip the boat with a third rudder in the flow of the propeller to improve her maneuverability. My wife joined my project and we had 16 years of wonderful sailing, traveling more than 24,500 Miles throughout the Mediterranean, the Caribbean, the Azores, Northern Europe, Ireland and Scotland. At 80, it seems reasonable to pass on my boat to someone who will give her a new life.
