POUVREAU 13m Aluminium Year 1986
This Vaton design aluminium built by the Pouvreau yard was modified as a keel boat and adapted for ice sailing. Reinforced hull, thermic insulation, double glazed pilot house with plexiglass bubble, companionway swinging door, Reflex oil fired stove in the saloon and open spaces make this travel cutter a really efficient expeditions sailboat. The aboard comfort is simple and the fragile and energy-consuming equipments have been left behind. Overhauled in 2011 (Mast, sails, furlers, rigging, electronics, home batteries...)carefully maintained.
Owner's words
We bought this sailboat to Philippe Poupon in 2007. He just came back from a long trip in Patagonia. Sure and totally adapted for life aboard during blue water cruising, we tuned this boat for our around the world program. We dismasted after Panama in 2011, and, as we were waiting for a new mast, we decided to get back home.
